Collected from Fiddlers Elbow,Cranham, Gloucester,England.
There are three distinct coral beds occurring at this location,This would likely have come from the lower bed nearer to the Pea grit formation.
I found it in the scree slopes amongst a plentiful supply of Rhynchonella.
The specimen is a relatively flat and, elongated shaped coral consisting, of hundreds of tiny Corallites.
The entire specimen including Base cut Inferior oolite matrix measures 60mm x 57mm.
