Super nice piece of the sea floor, these specimens occur together in a small area called a lens,or a hollowed out "dippy" Containing
Star shaped Pentacrinites Crinoid ossicles,along with lots of other fossil detritus,including a small sea urchin spine,bits of bivalves and lots more.
The specimen has been air abraded to remove about 2mm of obscuring limestone and is just packed with material
A very busy piece!
The entire piece measures 66mm x 60mm
