From the Jurassic, Sinemurian,Lower lias.
Collected from Black Ven, Lyme regis, Dorset.
Superb coprolite likely to be from a marine reptile (Ichthyosaur or Plesiosaur) with some very evident mooshed up remains, that were undigested and continued on through the gut, as they couldn't be broken down by the stomach acid.
The coprolite is loose from matrix and measures 36mm x 16mm.
