Description
Weight:
1.2kg
From the Jurassic,Kimmeridgian stage.
Collected from Oday,Abingdon,Oxford,England.
A super single Vertebra of this large short necked PIiosaur, with two stumps where the transverse processes would have risen from and the dip in the centre representing the bottom of the vertebral Foramen
There is also some lovely large bone cell structure displayed.
This is very likely to be from a Stretosaurus, but i am just going to be a little vague and offer it as Pliosaur species as its more of a wider umbrella.
The bone is loose from Kimmeridge clay and measures 117mm x 63mm
