Collected from Braidwood,Illinois,U.S.A.
A split nodule containing a nice Coprolite, composed of Calcium and Phosphate,i cant see any obvious bone fragments, so i don't believe it was produced by a shark,and although it would be impossible to give an identification as to the animal responsible, it could well be a fish from the Francis creek shale.
The entire nodule measures 48mm x 41mm.
