Collected from Garfield county,South Dakota USA.
This is a really nice,large well defined tooth,(known as a spit tooth,simply, because it would be replaced by another and just spit out onto the ground) from this Ceratopsid dinosaur.
Triceratops meaning three horned face ,were herbivorous dinosaurs reaching around 10 foot high and 30 foot long this,slow moving dinosaur is the one we all remember from films when we were children!
The tooth measures 16mm x 11mm .
