Collected from Frosterly,Rogerly mine, Weardale,County Durham,Northern England.
Superb black limestone (due to Bitumen seepage) containing very well detailed corals.
The specimen has been cut and polished, to a very nice high shine, revealing beautiful Corallites and dissepiments.
Nice to get hold of some of this classic English material!
The entire plate measures 102mm x 94mm
