Collected from The East Flank of the Bukit,Barisan mountain range,North west corner
South Sumatra,Indonesia.
I have cut and polished this piece ( Pics 1,2,3) from a larger specimen
When looked at under normal light, it appears a very dark brown,and the original chunk that i sliced it off is available in the unprepared section (See pic 5) is a dark blue.
But when you apply an ultraviolet light it becomes stunning hues of Blue!
Absolutely beautiful.
The specimen measures 46mm x 34mm,
